"On the fifth night of the Dark Rain XXIV, Keybearer Simon hid himself in the dungeons of Édu. There, he waited for sixteen days and sixteen nights, until the storm had passed and the shadowspawn had faded into the sunlight. Starved and on the brink of death, Simon fled the dungeons with the Key he possessed. In his state of delerium, he was unable to defend himself a Keyseeker, overtaken by frenzy and hatred, assaulted him in the presence of all, slaughtering him and siezing his sacred possession.
This nameless Keyseeker fled into the wilderness, unto the Lake of Gulls, and there was driven past the brink of madness. Yet only when the [REDACTED] arrived did the Keyseeker fall into death, and the Key into near oblivion. Only by the last musings of the Scribe, inseperably bound to the Keys, did its memory survive."
